Please make arrangements for prompt pick-up at 10:00 PM. Cost: $8.00 at door. Reservations: Please pre-register so we can order enough refreshments! Second Saturday kids said it best on Facebook: Do you remember the time Chuck Norris ate a computer and then traveled to Russia to meet with England's Parliament to discuss the importance of the rubber ducky? Well we sure do! At Second Saturday, improv is the name of the game and everyone is welcome! We're like the show "Whose Line Is It Anyway?," only way cooler and without cameras. Now I bet you're thinking, "Well golly gee whiz. I love 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?,' so that sure sounds like a bundle of fun. But, oh darn, I'm afraid of getting up in front of people." Fear not! Second Saturday is a fun, welcoming environment where as long as you try, you succeed! So why spend your Saturday night sitting at home when you could join the awesometastic Second Saturday family!
Join area teens, grades 6 through 12, for sketch comedy, fast-paced games and think on your feet in spur-of-the-moment situations. While this isn’t a class or workshop, it is planned and supervised by Playhouse education staff. You’ll work in groups of kids your own age, and you’ll meet lots of new people. Bring your friends. Everyone is welcome! Snacks are included.
If you would like to be on our e-mail list for more Second Saturday information, please contact Robin Spahr, Playhouse education registrar.
