Playhouse Workshops
Playhouse Workshops for Corporations
Looking for that next great idea? Need to stretch and challenge your group? Try this unique approach to produce practical applications for your growing business.

Team-Building through Improvisation and Creative Problem-Solving Workshops
Both workshops are available to area corporations. Whether you have one hour or a full-day, come to The Playhouse for an off-site experience or arrange for us to come to you. All workshops are lead by area educators with dual qualifications in theatre and business management. We can work on specific skills and identified issues, or give your team a booster shot of new enthusiasm.

We can recommend catering and arrange for meal accommodations if the workshop runs over mealtime.
Contact Kathy Pingel, director of education, at 515-974-5359, kpingel@dmplayhouse.com, to arrange your workshop. All fees are negotiable.

Backstage Tours
Each tour is tailor-made to the needs of the group. School children of all ages, Scouts, families, theatre aficionados, tour groups: everyone loves going behind the scenes to see things from an actor's point of view. Stand backstage in the wings, see where the costumes are sewn, peer into the props room, learn a little theatre lingo!
Time needed: 20-45 minutes
Cost: Complimentary in conjunction with a performance or workshop, otherwise $4/person
Contact Robin Spahr, education registrar, at 515-974-5365, rspahr@dmplayhouse.com
