Summer Camp Registration Now Open!

 

Grade Levels: Enroll your child in the grade level he or she will be entering in Fall 2019. Children are grouped by grade level so we may appropriately serve their developmental needs.

Dare to be Different 

Kindergarten 2019-Grade 1, 9:30-11:30 AM, June 10-14

$125 Subscribers/$135 Non-subscribers

From Tacky the Penguin to Giraffes Can’t Dance, children’s books are full of characters who walk to the beat of their own drummers. We’ll tell these stories and others with dramatic play, music, movement, games, and lots of hands-on activities.

 

Scene Stealers

Grades 2-3, 1:00-4:00 PM, June 10-14

$125 Subscribers/$135 Non-subscribers

Using the books kids love to read, such as Judy Moody & Stink, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and more, perform scenes in large and small groups. We keep it light but work on beginning acting skills and ensemble building. Friends and family are invited on the final day to view highlights in an informal showcase. New scenes each session for returning campers!

 

 

Scene Stealers

Grades 4-5, 9:00 AM-4:00 PM, June 10-14

$250 Subscribers/$260 Non-subscribers

Use scripts from popular Kate Goldman Children’s Theatre plays like Charlotte’s Web; The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe; and others to select scenes perfect for honing acting skills: voice, movement, memorization, character choices, and diction. Scenes will be presented to family and friends on the final day. New scenes each session for returning campers!

Grades 6-8, 9:00 AM-4:00 PM, June 10-14

Use scripts from plays like The Giver, Little Women, A Wrinkle in Time and more to select scenes made for honing acting skills: voice, making strong character choices, and diction. Scenes will be presented to family and friends on the final day. New scenes each session for returning students!

 

Harry Potter*

Grades 4-8, 9:00 AM-4:00 PM, June 17-21

$250 Subscribers/$260 Non-subscribers

Come to King’s Cross Station, Platform 9¾, to enter the summer session at Hogwarts. After being assigned a house by the Sorting Hat, make a magic wand and Quidditch uniform, and attend classes in potions, divination, and defense against the dark arts. Students need to read books 1-3 before the first day of camp.

*PLEASE NOTE: There are only 12 spots available for returning campers who will each assume the role and responsibilities of Prefect. All other spaces are reserved for those who have not taken Harry Potter previously.

Harry Potter Prefect*

Grades 4-8, 9:00 AM-4:00 PM, June 17-21

$250 Subscribers/$260 Non-subscribers

Please register as a Prefect if your child has taken Harry Potter in any previous summer. Once all Prefect spots are filled, please register on the waiting list for a Prefect spot.

Pirates and Pixiedust

Aarghh, young lads and lassies! Join us to tell stories of mayhem on the high seas, tales of buried treasure, and magical myths of mermaids and fairies.

Magic Tree House: Pirates Past Noon

Grades 2-3, 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM, June 24-28

Join Jack and Annie on a high-seas adventure as they travel back to the time of swashbuckling pirates, look for buried treasure, and walk the plank. Put on a performance for parents on the final day of class!

 

Performance Academy: Peter Pan

Grades 4-8, 9:00 AM-4:00 PM, June 24-28

$250 Subscribers/$260 Non-Subscribers

Perform J.M. Barrie’s classic tale of the boy who refuses to grow up, the Darling children, and the magical world of Neverland, Peter Pan. On the final day of camp, an audience of family and friends will join Peter, Wendy, Michael and John as they join Tinker Bell to defeat Captain Hook and his crew of dastardly pirates. Enrollment guarantees a part in the play!
