FAE Rides Again VOD

This summer, as part of the Tent Theatre series, the Final Act Ensemble radio troupe presented a comedy show featuring Burns and Allen in “George Meets a Hit-Man” and Fibber McGee and Molly in “Fibber Gets a Hundred-Dollar Bill” plus previews of coming attractions, bantering announcers, commercials that couldn’t sell anything, and a couple of favorite songs. The performance was recorded and is available for viewing Sept. 3-7, 2021.

The Final Act Ensemble is a troupe of performers ages 60 and older that perform classic and original radio plays, including commercials and sound effects, as well as songs from the Golden Days of Radio.

Video-on-demand (VOD) guidance

  • When you order VOD, you will receive a link in the Your Confirmation email that comes from djacobson@dmplayhouse.com. (Check your junk/spam folder as it sometimes ends up there.) Once you start viewing, you will have 24 hours to complete the video.
  • The video can be cast to your smart TV if your TV can accept casting. (The newer models do.) Or if you have ROKU or Chromecast, they too can accept your casting.
  • There were three cameras in the Ten Theatre. While there are some varied angles, there are no movie/Hamilton on Disney+ close-ups. This is not a film; it is a recording of a live theatre production.
