We’ve also got your entertainment with some of your favorite Playhouse performers in concert, on-demand, so you can view at noon or midnight! Each household will receive a link to our special New Year’s Eve celebration featuring famous and familiar Playhouse performers and a fun balloon drop, and you can watch it anytime from noon on December 31 to midnight on January 2.
For adults, the video features songs from South Pacific, Hadestown, Wicked, Frozen, Bandstand, and more. For families, the video features songs from Frozen, Tangled, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, and more, plus theatre games led by Playhouse teachers and directors and a special appearance by Edgar Allan Crow. The Party in a Box may be gone but the New Year’s Eve Cabaret videos are still available for only $20.21!
You’ll receive a link to 45 minutes of family entertainment – songs from Playhouse actors and games – followed by 60 minutes of Broadway and pop tunes from Playhouse performers past, present, and future. Both video sections end with a countdown and balloon drop. The video is available from Noon, Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020, through Midnight, Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021. Once you start viewing, you have 24 hours to watch.
